NYU chances??

<p>i'm currently a junior, my high school (grades 9-10) and my senior high (grades 11-12) are both extremely competitive, some the highest ranked in the state
gpa: 4.2 weighted i'm not sure what that is unweighted but i suppose maybe a 3.4?
rank: last year i was barely in the top half of my class and my weighted gpa was a 3.7
ECs: art club all years, i'm a social media manager for a branch of race for the cure for teens, national honors society sophomore/junior and will do senior year, national art honors society, TED talks club, this year i'm joining guitar club. i don't have a lot of ECs but i spend a lot of time with the ones i'm in.</p>

<p>i've gotten high rankings on scholastic art competitions and my strength is writing. i'll have a really good essay...</p>

<p>i took WHAP in 10th grade and got a 3 on the exam. this year i'm taking APUSH, AP eng lang, AP art history, and AP 2D design. i've been in the gifted and talented program at my school since first grade and my GT class in 10th grade was WHAP and this year its APUSH/eng lang</p>

<p>i took the PSAT but haven't gotten the scores back...i'm a white female...what else...?</p>

<p>i really want to get into nyu. i will get four jobs and study my life away if it means i will get into nyu. my parents dont think i can. i know the prices are high and they're gonna kill me for it but i will work so hard.</p>

<p>I would say think about starting a club at your school to show that you are a leader and are passionate about what you do. Also, its really great that your grades have improved so much in the past year, it will show the schools who much dedication you have. Also try to score better on your next AP exams, if you can try to get mostly 5’s.
