<p>I had a VERY strong essay and a good writing supplement. My Recommendation was superb. </p>
<p>I am applying to CAS ED 1. My uncle went to NYU, which I said in the "have any relatives ever attended NYU" and my twin sister is also applying, but RD. </p>
<p>Your GPA and AP Scores are great. Your ECs are also very strong. Your SAT, as others of said, is a little low, but nothing that you can’t make up. You have pretty good chances in my opinion - Good Luck!</p>
<p>I think it’s all been said before all your stats look great except for your SAT which isn’t bad, it just isn’t as great. I’d say you’re in if your essays are as great as you say they are. best of luck, 28 days till we all find out.</p>

Plus NYU doesn’t look at test scores as much so I would say that your SAT is fine (it’s the average CAS score anyway)
ED will help you too because it shows commitment to the school
