@NYU2013 , thank you so much for giving me some hope. I will try my best to get a 2200 on SAT and bring my marks up more this year.

My school wont be offer class rank, Grade median is all they get. :/

How’s it going, @garcialexis? I’m Camillia, and I’m a student in the NYU Class of 2017.

Your GPA looks fine, but I would definitely consider sending the highest AP scores you possess, and with the ones you made a 3 on (which is still passing!), select the ones which contribute most towards your major (e.g. if you’re considering a major in Biology, submit your AP Bio score).

The median ACT score for my group of admissions was a 29, but I wouldn’t let that hold you back. My SAT scores weren’t up to par with the median score, but I had ECs and AP credit to make up for that factor.

Speaking of ECs, what extracurriculars are you putting down on your application? NYU takes these into great consideration as well. In fact, they’re weighed nearly equally with your grades and ability.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to message me or reply on this thread. Hope I helped!

Your stats are a little low for stern, but you should be fine for any other school.
