This thread is for NYU Early Decision Round 1 applicants, to discuss the admissions process, and once the decisions are out, we could discuss those too.

Bump. ED1 applicant right here

Me :)

just applied

Also applied. Can’t wait

Yo ED1 applicant here

Hey guys! So decision day is 45 days away and we’re all going to get anxious! Which school did y’all apply to? We could talk about any apprehensions you guys have - stats, the admissions process - anything at all

Applied to CAS. Not sure if any of you know, but NYU changed the decision release day to December 12. It’s listed on its applicant/student login page (Albert.nyu.edu and hit applicants). I know it’s not much, but it’s still 3 days earlier than before!

Hey, I didn’t know that! That’s better, reduces the anxiety.

Wait. Does that mean they received fewer applications?

Has anyone got their letter of acknowledgement

What in the world is that? Is it the email stating that the complete application has been received? I got that a week and a half ago! :)

How long after turning in your application did you receive that email from nyu?

Hi! I applied ED as well! I applied to the GLS program and I received my email three days after I submitted my application! 39 days and counting!!!

I got my email about 5 days after applying. It includes your NYU login info. to check your application status.

I applied ED to CAS I’m anxiously awaiting the admission decisions! Goodluck to you all

Yes, should have sent the confirmation of receipt to everyone now.

So what are you looking forward to most at NYU?

Hey guys,
I just checked my NYU albert applicant page
Other than my processing fee, both the transcript and the exam results boxes are unchecked while i submitted them all through the common app
Anyone else facing this problem ?

NYU takes a few weeks to process everything. It took me about 2 weeks for my transcript and scores to show as complete. As long as you sent them, I wouldn’t worry.
