@SaintCloud My albert doesn’t have the student and housing tab! Huh, what school did you apply to and did you reply positively to an interest email?
still curious since no one has really answered- despite not receiving an interest email, can anyone else access the housing application at https://housing.nyu.edu/apply ??? Mine says non renewable undergraduate but let’s me access the application regardless
Also, my FA says 2016 as well. Does this mean spring admit?? Does NYU defer some waitlisters to spring?
@Jwhalen1112 I know that NYU doesn’t defer wait listers to Spring! I called the admissions about two weeks ago to ask about Spring, but the person said they don’t do that!
@Jwhalen1112 I can also access the housing application but never received an interest mail. My FA didn’t change. So the FA change could mean some thing but I don’t think the housing app is.
Is there a difference between 2015 FA and 2016 FA? My portal only has “2015 - Award Not Available”… 
As much as I hate to think it, I would assume having 2015 is better, as 2016 kind of indicates this year not being a possibility. But who knows? I hope I’m wrong.
I honestly don’t think the FA changes mean anything bc mine changed to 2016 before regular decision came out and everyone was saying that meant I got in based on the past but I got waitlisted instead

@jomarch I applied to CAS and never got the interest email but I don’t think the tabs are indicative of anything, since @Backshe9 just got theirs too. But who knows
Just got an interest email! Not sure if this is for Tisch (where I originally applied) or Steinhardt, since I indicated I was interested in both on my waitlist form.
Does anyone know if we can decline an acceptance if we get one? I’m incredibly interested in NYU, but I have a nice scholarship at the school I’m already enrolled at and if I don’t get any federal aid from NYU, I’m gonna have to turn it down.

Hey guys, whats up with the waitlist status?
I actually got an interest email on wednesday last week, than on friday i was told that in the early next week (this week) i’ll be receiving my admission decision. Are we going to receive a desision or its over? Im really worried tho 
Btw im waitlisted at Polytech.
I now have the student AND applicant tab on my albert. But no official word yet. All of this albert speculation is really freaking me out!
