@afreeman I was thinking today, but it can’t be that easy. Might be this year is an entirely different situation with perhaps fewer number of openings. Stay strong.
I think if it was today it’ll probably be later… the people who got interest letters a week ago got theirs around 5pm Eastern time

Hi everyone! I’m just here to give some info/relay my experience because I’m seeing a lot of questions in this thread. I got into NYU off of the waitlist on May 5th; I got an email asking about continued interest on May 2nd and they said that there is room right now and that I had to respond within 24 hours to be considered. I got a decision letter 3 days later. They’re gradually sending out “continued interest” emails to people as they read through apps again so don’t worry rn. I think they’re probably just taking a while reading through again because, like someone said before, around 15,000 waitlist offers were sent out this year. You’ve still got a real chance because not everyone on the waitlist who’s offered a spot will commit to NYU. You’ve got this!
(Also I submitted my waitlist acceptance form on April 30th so I don’t think people who submitted it earlier get priority)

Hey guys! I just created this account to tell you that I was admitted into Steinhardt for the Spring term. I know how horrible it feels to be stuck in limbo wondering when your decision will arrive and to be constantly checking this thread for news, so just thought you should know. So my prediction is that either CAS have no space at all or they will tell us next week…
