Hi, did you get one answer for all colleges NYU, AD and Shanghai?
Hi, is it possible to not receive ANY aid or scholarships from NYU because unless I’m looking in the wrong place, it says I’m not getting anything.

you can be rejected from nyu and get into columbia, keep your hopes up!

@Picklenut6, Thank you. I’d thought you had to sign and promise you would not put down a deposit at any other schools when you make your decision? I’d asked the same question to our guidance counselor with regard to early decision. He said that if you got in ED there was no legal requirement to go there, but it really damaged the relationship between the college and your high school and often impacted future students from your high school in getting in. Also, they said your transcript was stamped “ACCEPTED EARLY DECISION AT XYZ U” or something like that, so other schools knew. I’m not sure whether pulling out of a commitment or deposit has the same impact on the relationship.
