NYU College of Nursing?

I'm going to be applying for college soon and I'm interested in NYU's college of nursing. I went to an info session and they said they only accept about 60 undergrads for the traditional program. They also said (on the top of their heads) that the average GPA and SATs to get in were a 3.6 and mid 600s. Is this true?

GPA: 3.59 (not based on a 4.0 scale)
SAT: M- 650 CR- 550 (I plan to bring this up) W- 640 (1840 all)
ACT: 26

Asian

I volunteer at a hospital twice a week (and am waiting to see if I can shadow a nurse there soon).
Both of my parents are NYU alums.
(I've also visited NYU 3 times if that's a factor)

The info session was so vague about the average accepted students so I was hoping to see if anyone could put in imput-- what kind of chance do I have if I apply early decision?

EDIT--- I'm going to repost this to the NYU forum

Rule of thumb is ALWAYS try to be higher than the average. The reason is because any type of average includes special cases (Minorities, athletes, etc.) who have lower GPAs. So generally you would want high 650s
