NYU, Cornell, Binghamton

These are my stats:
(my high school doesn't do rankings or percentiles in the class)

-Currently a senior taking Senior Seminar (4 class grades), AP Econ, AP Env, AP Calc. So total of 4 APs by the end of the year.
-No Previous APs
-Was in Honors/Honors by Acceleration math since 7th grade.
-87.5 cumulative average (upward growth since freshman year. Went from an 85.5 Freshman year to a 93 Junior year)
-1660 SAT score
-28 ACT score (92-93rd national percentile)
-Took SAT Subject Tests for Mathematics 1 and US History this morning. I think I did fairly well on the M1 but poor on the US History.
-I'm in a few clubs. I am the Founder/President of one club and secretary for another.
-I have a very original essay. I consider it to be phenomenal. My english teacher, a very harsh grader, however, says it is just average. But he considers the vast majority of the essays he has checked over the past fourty years to be absolutely putrid.
-I am on the mailing list for all the colleges I am applying to.
-I have reseearched each college individually and have met with several representatives of each college to which I am applying to. I filled out cards with my information on it and some of these representatives say these information cards will be very beneficial for me during the application process.

Now, the colleges I am applying to:

-NYU (Early Decision), College of Arts and Sciences
-SUNY Binghamton (Early Action), Harpor
-Cornell University, CALS
-SUNY Stony Brook (Early Action)
-SUNY Albany (Early Action)
-SUNY Geneseo
-Boston University, College of General Studies
-Syracuse University
-Hofstra University
-George Washington University (possibly Early Decision 2)

Given all this information...which colleges do you think I will be admitted into?

cornell: nah, only if you prove Einstein wrong..
NYU: most likely not.. but if ur rich n have the bucks.. maybe.. i know some ppl w/ ur stats from rich families goin to NYU
SUNY's: dont know, but from what i've heard.. yep

need to distinguish urself to have atleast mke IVY's n top schools a semi-reach..

i think only 4 APs and your low SATs will keep you out of cornell, nyu,gw. i really don't know the suny system, so i'm sure some are more/less competitive than the others. yes to hofstra. bu and syracuse marginal...check out their number of applicants each year , as that may make or break you on those. your ECs are bland. what about volunteerism?

plenty of volunteerism
I do have a low SAT score but look at my ACT composite...they will go with the higher of the two (ACT or SAT)
And to psychicphun, I do have the bucks to pay for NYU.

.....bump......

if u got the bucks.. then u have chances in ur favor bro..

for example: the valedictorians last year of our school (there were two), both got rejected from NYU bec/ they are both poor.. one went to ramopo college..idk about that place.. and one went as a poly sci major to Georgetown... now, however... the ranked 25/26.. two really --err.. stupid?.. no no, relatively unintelligent**-- girls applied there and both got in!!!!!!! Why.. i have my theory on this.. 2 major reasons:
1) good looking.. prolly charmed the interview
2) FILTHYYYYY RICH
3) both were homecoming nominations :P .. yea, my stupid theory..

the biggest reason is 2.. NYU is an expensive university.. and what gets me is that someone w/ 2180 SAT's doesnt get in while someoen w/ ~1700 does?

how do they know who has the bucks to get in?
i didn't see anything on the common app about parents salary...
