NYU decisions

anyone out there applied to NYU but still havnt received their decision letters?!?! i've been checking their website, and they said that results come out on april 1st and that residents outside the US should get their decisions online (i live in the philippines). i've been checking my e-mail, nothing. then i find out that 2 of my friends received their acceptance letters (april 1 on the dot) via UPS. meaning i should get mine through UPS too. but it's already april 2 and i still havent received anything!!!! does this mean i've been rejected??? omeone please help me end the agony!!! i feel like im in limbo!! i dont know what's worse, waiting just to find out ive been rejected, or being accepted but never knowing it because i never got my letter!!! HELP!

Do you go to school in the Philippines or board/dorm in the US?

I have a friend who's an international (Mexican) but dorms in the US and I think they mailed it to him.

i go to school in the philippines. so do my friends who got their letters thru UPS.

are you serious? i haven't received a thing. and i saw a UPS van circling my subdivision. so does this mean i'm rejected?

Things get lost, and people make mistakes. Try contacting them.

me too. i haven't got my decision letter yet either. my friend got his rejection letter before 1st april and he says that if you haven't got your decision letter yet, it means that you're probably in coz they want you to receive the e-mail at around the same time as you receive the admissions packet.

all the best! maybe i'll see you at NYU if we both are admitted!

p.s. i'm an international student too.

thanks acidten! but i havent even received even an e-mail yet! have you? i'm really freaked out! but i hope that what you said is true. i REALLY REALLY wanna get into NYU.

where do you study? :)

did you guys get your decisions via e-mail and then by mail? or did you just get the e-mail? I'm applying as a transfer and live outside the US...
