I was accepted to Gallatin and I’m starting to look at the housing options and was wondering if any current students or those with more knowledge than I could answer some questions. Are there any singles available for first year students? I have a sleep disorder and this is kind of a necessity for me. On top of that, are there any dorms that have particularly large windows(I love natural light and would sacrifice a lot for more than just a meager standard dorm sized window) or that have a darkroom in the building? Thanks a lot!
You can register with the disabilities office and get a medical single. Some of the freshman dorms have darkrooms (or had), specifically Brittany and Rubin. As for large windows/natural light, they’ll just assign you to a room, so you won’t get to be choosy about that
