Actually, I don’t see many people last year got FA change and then got into NYU? But guess I’ll just quit cc until Friday. It’s frustrating af.
On the page of FA, they did not change my name from informal one (the one I prefer to be called) to official one on my green card (I’m Permanent Resident ). However, my name on house portal changed to official one over the night on Dec 1. I cannot stop thinking of the possible implications…
And I haven’t had any FA change since day 1 till now…it seems that page is totally irrelevant to me.
I got the fa change a week ago. To be honest, I don’t think it matters. We’ll get the result in four days. I myself am freaking out right now but we’ll get the best results in just four days. Hang up there guys…

@edenab17 exactly, based on last year’s EDI post,the FA Change doesnt mean anything, instead, many people who got change on 12th got rejected.
Ahhh no need for any negativity. If you got the change, great! A mood booster and some hope can’t hurt, especially bc most of us have a really hectic week of finals this week. If you haven’t gotten the change (lol me too), no worries 
. I stalked last year’s ED forum for a bit and tons of people got in wo the fa change. We just gotta wait it out a couple more days.

It’s pretty clear that the FA change doesn’t conclusively indicate acceptance. Why is everyone freaking out about something that could potentially mean NOTHING? Take deep breaths. The decision date is almost here and what’s meant to happen, will happen. Good luck to everyone.
