For future applicants & RD kids: I didn’t get any changes, I don’t even know what the FA change was, my housing never changed, all I got was an NYU email assigned to me & I was accepted into CAS! Try not to stress about the changes, they don’t mean anything.
@Venice23 he is right FA change and housing change means nothing! stop stressing yourself over the change just do what you gotta do and wait for the decision.

No FA change all the way… saw my NYU email on housing portal on Dec 1. Accepted to Liberal Studies, with ACT 31 and GPA 3.57 (our school is famous for giving students very low scores so I guess admission office knows it)… Essay on my community service experience. Why NYU - from my family background to personal interest. When talking about why NYU, I actually demonstrate who I am at the same time. After all, no matter you are accepted or not, sun will rise again tomorrow. Life is long, this is only a little milestone.
@Foxcc0n Shanghai is a great city. Very energetic and always happening. Most young people like it. Maybe you should fly here to make your decision.
@Frances007 what state are you from? is that a w or uw GPA?
China…our school is famous for low GPA. School counselors say US admission offices knows that.
But how can I know that I have been rejected from the NYC Campus? Since the portal gave me nothing but a letter from NYU Shanghai

Rejected with 3.8 unweighted GPA with 10 APs and 1490 SAT with a national championship… honestly don’t know why I got rejected
