@stehyh Hhhh my stats are really bad, my school doesn’t calculate gpa but I have Cs and Bs and one A I believe. SAT2360 and nothing really special. Btw I’m an international student and goes to an all girls school in NYS. Our school sends tons of girls to NYU each year, 60% admission rate so like last year 15 applied 10 got in and the five were just like really bad in that class. I mean I don’t have much hope for stern lol but don’t know why I got the housing change… It probably doesn’t mean anything. How’s your stats
Yeah maybe that’s why @trign0metry I think we’ll just have to wait till the 15th approaches. The closer it gets, the more we’ll know.

Ohhh you live in new york state? I have two B+ from the first semester of junior year and the rest are A- & above. My SAT score is 2230…which I suppose is average for Stern (?) and I’m a US citizen living in China 
My school’s admission rate for NYU is around 35% I suppose … last year two people applied ED2 and both got in (CAS philosophy & Tisch film) with average stats and an alright portfolio. Glad that you got the change!! Cs and Bs won’t stop you from anything

hey guys. I applied to Stern EDII and CAS as my 2nd option… got the housing change a week ago from ‘non-renewable undergraduate’ to ‘freshman’ for fall in NYC. I have read alot about the housing change, but thought i’d ask you guys anyway - is it a “real” indicator of admission ?
Also, since my second choice was CAS, do you think its possible to be rejected from Stern and accepted to CAS, and hence get the housing change…? Or would i only get the housing change if i was accepted to my first choice. Thanks!
I currently have ‘Fall in NYC’ and ‘Freshman’ just below it and absolutely nothing for spring. @gettingintostern And yes, I believe getting rejected into stern but accepted to CAS is a possibility. @Coolbrezze

@gettingintostern oh my gosh that’s so rad I live in Beijing!! Wanna check if your financial aid summary changed? Tbh I don’t think ‘Freshman’ for both terms really means anything…as in it’s impossible to deduce anything from it

Previous accepted students claimed to have gotten into their first choice with the ‘Fall in NYC’ option but without ‘Spring in NYC’ so we don’t know… @gettingintostern
