Hey guys, so I applied to NYU early decision and I'm SO nervous about getting in.
Here's the thing, my stats are slightly below what they were asking for (1780 SAT and 3.56 GPA) but I know for sure I got AMAZING recommendations and I'm pretty sure that my extracurriculars are good.
-I was a Girl Scout troop leader for two years.
-I've played piano for 12 years, and I give lessons.
-I've volunteered at the elderly home where my grandmother lives since 7th grade (I'm in 12th now).
-I've worked a full time job (40hrs/week) at a limousine company to help support my family since I was 15 (I'm 17 now).

I was wondering what you guys think my chances are of getting in. I was hoping my constantly busy schedule will make up for my lower than average GPA and SAT score, but I'm not sure. They're the reasons I didn't devote as much time as I should have to my studies during high school.
Any feedback would help. Thanks SO much in advance.
