NYU Early Decision

I sorta have a bit of a dilemma revolving NYU ED.

NYU is my first choice.
I have a 1320 and a 3.65 (90%)
All honors
All ap's senior

two varsity sports, clubs,
service the works

My grades are a bit of a problem though a 90% is a bit low especially when my Junior average was an 86.

NYU ED is strange in regard that its ether accepted or rejected and the rejects dont go into the regular pool. So im wondering if ED will give me the edge or I should wait for regular decision when I hopefully have a good senior year report card.

to boot im taking sat II in November and having them sent to NYU (im told they arrive in time and are considered)

ED or not?

1320/2400? Your GPA doesn't look like its going to cut it.

i think he meant 1320/1600 ...

^If that's the case, and we assume that that means he hasn't broken 2000 yet (It would be a 1980), then I would rate him Slight Reach/Reach. He's not elaborating on his EC's. What kinds of clubs? Any awards? More to the point: any business-related awards or clubs?

1320 out of 1600

i wouldnt even apply if i had those kinds of scores

varsity hockey and varsity rowing

100 hours of communtiy service building a church

Is that it? Do you have any clubs that you joined and/or were president of? Anything business-related? Your GPA isn't particularly great, and your SAT isn't that strong either. I'd still put you as a reach because of that, especially since your EC's won't necessarily corroborate your application.

i was just asking for a ballpark and was trying to avoid putting a complete resume but yea

2 varisity sports

clubs
spanish club
model un
fbla

work
dental practice (through out highschool)
target
landscaping company

essentially my grades were low because i was always so busy

business? im not trying to go to stern
Cas please

Oh wow, sorry, I saw a thread with NYU Stern on it and got mixed up. You look competitive if you're just going to try out for CAS. High Match is a conservative guess.
