***NYU ED 2 DISCUSSION ***

Hey everyone!

Hope it’s not too early to start a thread, considering ED 2 apps are due fairly soon.

How’s the application process going for you guys? I’m already so nervous to hear back.

I haven’t finished the application process yet… just got rejected by ED. Need to really focus on NYU from now on.

Hey guys! Just got rejected ED from Columbia… I really need to focus on the application on NYU, but it isn’t really easy.

Guys I’m really worried!! People from my school with 35 ACT and great grades have gotten flat out denied- not even deferred… it’s scaring me!!

Accepted to NYU CAS yesterday! Good luck guys, the changes mean nothing! I got no FA change it housing change, and received a full tuition CAS scholarship!

Getting super nervous. I don’t have a competitive SAT score, but I do have an above average IB score… idk … just get lost in the loop of self-doubt… since I want to apply to drama major I guess it’s more important to show my talent.

I can relate to the self-doubt… I submitted my app about a week ago and some days I feel confident and some days I’m super nervous

@ytw333 my SAT was a 1270, below average for NYU, never lose hope!

@GiannaC3 Thanks! I’ll try my best : )

Hey guys,International Student from India applying ED-2 for the Liberal Studies Core Programme.

All the Best!

hey, guys, I am an international applicant from Ethiopia and I just submitted my predicted scores to NYUAD yesterday after applying to ED2 on 29th December, could I be deferred due to late submission.
My application is good with a GPA of 4, everything else is amazing except for my NYU essay, it is kinda not enough, can you please read it and give me opinions, please?

Why NYU? I think NYU is one of the most incredibly diverse place with full of choices, throughout my high school years I knew that I wanted to be a part of a diverse community communicating, sharing ideas and exploring its vast choices; I could want nothing more than to one day call myself a part of this motivational community, building relationships with people who share my passion for helping others and who will both value my talents as well as challenge me to grow. With my long living desire to be an engineer I think NYU will provide me with the most excellent choices helping me to pursue my dreams.
With NYU’s various options and my utter curiosity I want to make full use of my stay in this amazing university. As I have always wanted to explore and travel, NYU has three different campuses located in one of the most urban cities of the world expanding its ways of learning.
Regardless of what path I find myself taking as NYU opens my eyes to growth and change, I know that an education and an experience spent in such a special community is one that has the potential to change my life and make an everlasting impact.

please be honest

who got in?
