Thinking about EDII or RD, what is the chance to get in to Stern?
ACT 34
International student 95% (GPA 4?)
Top 20/450
good recommendation, Essay will be relatively good.
with some EC and award, not remarkable
Any chances?

Hi I applied for financial aid but my parents submitted the application without even talking to me. Turns out some of the questions(i.e. how much they were willing to pay for my university fees) were quite low( below their actual financial ability). I can’t change the application now and I am extremely worried that this is going to affect my chance of getting in. What can I do?
As long as you aren’t international, NYU is need blind in the admissions process so your ability to pay or lack thereof will have no effect on admittance… best of luck to you!
@mattyvinxxx Thank you for your help! The thing is that I am international student… it’s partly my fault that I didn’t tell my parents to let me handle the application, guess the only thing I can do is hoping my chance won’t be affected so much
Does anyone know the basic stats of someone getting admitted by Stern ED1?
question: nyu doesn’t often offer interviews right? i just saw another forum talking about interviews and someone said that all nyu applicants receive interviews by alumni so i’m kinda confused because both my english teacher and my counselor said otherwise
so as december 15th approaches, my late night anxiety becomes more frequent. i was wondering on what my chances of getting into NYU CAS for anthro or steinhardt for media communication were (i also applied for LSP). i applied under ED1.

Hi all, my son plans on applying to NYU (CAS) as ED2 and I was somehow told by someone that there should be not much difference between ED and RD in terms of chances for acceptance. Is that true? Good luck to all of you!
@jyc1230 That’s correct, not much difference. There are some schools where ED could make a difference, NYU is not one of them.
@Fishnlines29, Thank you so much for your reply!
Hey guys
But doesn’t EDing imply that you are able to afford the school hence differentiating between you and the other students?
