NYU ED....GAH, help ease the next couple weeks

Hey everyone! I was just wondering about my chances of NYU ED. Everything is in and I'm beginning to freak out about the whole thing.

GPA: 3.83 UW (No weighted grades, so i dont know how much class rank matters)
ACT: 33

Most rigorous class schedule, 3 AP's last year (but dropped one) and 6 AP's this year:

Activities:
- I play three instruments proficiantly: guitar (7), piano (6), and Mandoline (3)
- In two bands, we have recorded full length LP's in professional studios and play shows about every other week.
- Host my own radio show every Wed. 89.7 KYMC
- Assistant Ed.-in-Chief of our literary magazine, been published in it, etc
- Co-prez of environmental club
- Co-prez of Amnesty international
- Varsity Soccer
- Gift of Guitar: An organization i started to provide lessons to underprivilaged kids who cant afford lessons. So far, 11 teachers are involved.

Good recs

Ya, what I'm worried about is the non-profit org. I started sounding bogus, because i dont think i explained it fully on my activities sheet. thanks everyone.

You will most likely get in.

i would say most likely for GSP

I would think you'd get in to CAS and not gsp. you have a good gpa and scores

Don't worry. You'll get into the College of Arts and Sciences, but the business school, if you applied, which is very selective, would be up in the air.

NYU is a good school. Nice choice because they have been rising in the eye in the regards of others.

Ya I applied to CAS, but ryfrky07, you're right, its rising in the ranks. Plus it just kickass all around......except for the financial aspect haha

anyone else??

fakeplastic-check out the devoted NYU forum and add yourself to the ED roster

did, thanks for the heads up

bump

bumpppppppppppppp
