did anyone with the Washington DC housing portal get in?
I don’t know man. Mine says I am considered with ED 2 applicants. That means deferred or wait listing? I’m only confused man.

Deferred means your application is moved to the ED2 or RD pool (whichever they specify) and considered with those.
Waitlist technically means that they will only reconsider your application after all other (ED and RD) decisions are out, and then see if there is space for you if enough admits turn their places down. However, last year a number of ED waitlists got admits along with the RD admits rather than having to wait to the end of the process.

Because they posted on here. No idea how many of them as a % of all waitlists, but there were a number who got in in the RD round.

What if I got waitlist but then NYU accepts me? Do I have to go to NYU like ED?

My S got into NYU shanghai too. They did not mention the major in the offer letter.
