@sternhopeful2018 I’ve never been lucky on that day before. Hopefully NYU will change that!

^^ me neither… Well some years… Lol and NYU will either cause a heartbreak or heartmake for many students

ED1 got their decisions on Friday the 13th, talk about an unlucky day, hahaha

@cc20148 That’s right, I forgot about that. The decision dates are really quite symbolic this year!

HAHA! I know. Hopefully it’ll be good news. I’m so worried though, my FA hasn’t changed. I only have 2013 and 2014… :/

was there anyone in any other applicant pool where their FA didnt change and they were still accepted? also, can we be waitlisted? or just reject/accept?

Yea I remember reading a few people who’s fa didn’t change and they were still accepted so don’t worry

I was accepted without a FA change :)

The few, the proud, the unchanged.

In all seriousness, you guys all have plenty of time to see a FA change, a lot of people I heard got it just a few days before their results (Dec 13)

Well that’s reassuring. I’m getting ansy…the wait is unbearable. thank you :)

Whew! Just one month guys…

Where are you guys from?

im from texas!

My FA also has not changed. And I am a international student who did not apply for FA. Should my FA also change? Or should it always be “award access not available”?

Hey! I’m also an international and I got in from the EDI applicant pool this year.
There’s always been a lot of speculations about the FA change thing and I want to clear a few things up. As far as what I’ve seen this year, an FA change doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re accepted. A lot of people with proper FA changes (a lot of them with a different year showing up) were rejected. Also, as far as my knowledge goes most people without the change were certainly rejected.
So to sum up, don’t get your hopes too high if you get the change but atleast you’re on the safer side of the line. Good luck you guys! :)

Really appreciate that. Thanx a lot.

What do you mean by proper changes with different years, as in changes not saying 2015, but rather say 2016 or 2014 etc? Does ‘proper’ changes also include year 2015 FA changes too?

Proper, as in 2015, which it should say. A lot of people had 2014 on there too; some had both.

I see 2013, 2014, and 2015 bit that’s because I did a precollege program
