<p>Well I have a student tab on my account and I don’t know if you can do it without it. There’s an option called search and when you click on it, you can see all the classes available.</p>

<p>The students tab I think is only for precollege students sorry. And the globe smart account is in home.nyu.edu. </p>
<p>And because it seems to be accessed only for precollege students, I don’t think it necessarily means anything, so don’t worry about it. Also I’m curious about the Globesmart thing but someone in the ED1 thread said it didn’t mean anything, but I guess we’ll see. :</p>

<p>Hey guys, I have a question. I received the FA change to my application (Steinhardt) about two weeks ago and so although I’m being wary and cautious, I’m also being positive about my chances of being admitted. </p>
<p>Just to put it out there, I have a really low GPA. This makes me extra cautious of the FA change because I think NYU is a long shot for me. I have a 3.65 UW GPA with a 1990 SAT, but I’ve taken 4 APs and am currently taking another 4 this year (total of 8) and I go to one of the top 100 public high school’s in the nation according to US News. </p>
<p>My issue is this:</p>
<p>Today, grades have been finalized and my senior UW GPA for first semester dropped. I got a 3.28 with 2 A’s and 5 B’s (4 are from my AP classes and one is from my physics class). I took AP Gov, AP Lit, AP Environmental Science, and AP Stats.</p>
<p>But my weighted GPA ends up being a 3.85 which is actually higher than my original weighted GPA which is a 3.8. I don’t know if NYU evaluates using weighted or unweighted GPAs but that’s my situation right now: A drop in UW GPA but an increase in weighted GPA.</p>
<p>I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m scared that this drop will hurt me in my chances of EDII. I’ve got the FA change, things are looking to be on the up side of things, and now this. I tried really hard but I guess it wasn’t hard enough. </p>
<p>What do you guys think? I just need some critical opinions from someone else so that I can prepare myself for the worst should the predictions be bad.</p>
<p>@stjohnson Go onto the nyu.edu website and click NYUHome Login at the top. Use your NetID to log in and then once you’re logged in, scroll down a little and look on the left bar for “Globesmart Login.” Log in with your NetID again and then if you click on “My Settings” at the top, you should be able to see your NYU email under your profile. My friends who already got in ED said that other students were not able to gain access to their Globesmart account. </p>
<p>I actually just attempted to send an email using the one displayed in my Globesmart account and it went through successfully 
It also says that the account was created “1/31/2014” which is the night that my fa status changed. </p>
