^Wow your counselor is no help… Are you able to schedule a one-on-one appointment with your counselor though? You can print the offline ED agreement form on CommonApp and approach her and make her sign that.

Also you might want to e-mail the NYU admission counselor of your region about your situation. That’s what I did when I was late with my ED agreement form.

Hey guys I received my NYU confirmation email but they got my home address wrong. Does anyone know how I could change that? I can’t seem to find anything on Albert to help me. Or should I email the admissions counselor?

@outonalimb: thank you! yea its’s ridiculous… i sent an email to the NYU counselor of the central/western europe region so hopefully he’ll be able to help me.

@zebrashorts: on the bottom of the email it says
“If you find any errors, send your corrections to admissions.ops@nyu.edu. Reference your University ID number in any communications with us. We will contact you using the e-mail address you have provided, so remember to let us know if you change it in the future.”

Guys so my FA status changed to “Award access not available” today from no info…
It doesn’t say 2014 or 2015 and I am freaking out about it right now!
I submitted mine on Jan 1, so I doubt that they have already made a decision for me.
Does anyone know what it would possibly mean?

Yeah scratch that @awesomeyoo, actually now I’m really confused… mine already changed from ‘Award access not available’ to showing the year ‘2015 New York University Award not available.’ This can’t be the FA change, right?

i’m a little nervous… my guidance counselor has sent in her ED agreement and my transcript but my status checker is saying there is no transcript (the box isn’t checked off)
should i call the admissions office tomorrow to be sure they have it?

also it says my application was submitted jan 3. i submitted december 30th? are they not going to look at my app? i’m freaking out!?

@secretparamour On Albert, you go to Financial Aid Summary and it usually says “Award not Accessible.” The FA Change is if that changes to something else, but mine changed already for some reason

@collegebound1260 Yeah I think you’re freaking out, just wait a bit, my transcript checkbox was also unmarked for few days.

The FA change will indicate the year (probably 2015, since its a year ahead for some reason) and will say Award Access Not Available, whereas before the change it says No Financial Aid Information Found.

It changed from “Award Access not Available” to this sort of 3-column grid.
And it said “2015” “New York University” “Award Access not Available”

Guys, just because your FA doesn’t change, doesn’t mean you’ve been rejected. Mine didn’t change from “Award Access not Available” until after I was accepted.
