Also did anyone else apply through common app and chose to also be considered for the global liberal arts program?
@Cami0926 I also chose to be considered for GLS! I applied to CAS for philosophy what about you?
@bearswithsocks I applied to CAS for international relations. Since it’s an honors major, though, I think I would have to work my way into it. Philosophy’s pretty cool too.
@Cami0926 That’s such a cool major! Hope February 14th treats us both well.
Also does anyone else not have the option to withdraw their application on the portal anymore? Not like I was ever going to just wondering if it’s the same for everyone else.
@bearswithsocks I don’t have the option either. When you go to housing what does it say? For me it says “no application available”
@bearswithsocks I hope so too! Also the option to withdraw doesn’t show up for me either. I think that means that they’ve already made their decisions and withdrawing would be pointless. Decisions come out in 4 days so it’s just a matter of making sure everything is set to release online.
can’t wait to get rejected
Does anyone know if legacy helps at all?
Me too.
Feeling a little scared for Feb 14. Might be the best, might be the worst Valentine ever.
I plan on not seeing my decision at all
@Chubbyangel123 lol. I’m super nervous too. Decisions come out in 3 days!!
@Cami0926 You probably have a better chance than me
anyone else hoping they get in so they don’t have to worry about sending in mid-year reports to deferred/RA schools? mine weren’t too good and hoping I get in so I don’t have to worry about it!
@cusnew housing is the same for me.
@Chubbyangel123 I’m sure that is not true. I don’t really have anything outstanding in my application.
@Jessica135 oof Ik what you mean, senioritis kicked in hard this last quarter and those grades are NOT it.
@Cami0926 my stats are so bad
@Chubbyangel123 lmao dude I don’t think so. Do your worst, let’s see your stats. I doubt they’re really that bad. Also remember that your application is more about how you as an individual fit in to NYU, not just your gpa.
@Cami0926 I have a 88.7 GPA and a 1250 sat score that won’t get me in anywhere
