im international though. are you international?
No, I am from America
So can folks still see Fall-20 in their portal. If so, my D cannot. Only summer-20.
@momstress2020 I can only see Summer 2020
@momstress2020 - my D didn’t get the Fall Housing indicators until the day after she accepted NYU’s offer. Relax - it’s not a sign. Hang in there, everyone!
Do you how many undergraduate international students applies and gets selected for sports management or real estate (approximate)?
@MrDiaz @RudyStonisch Did you do extra-curricular or smth regarding Real Estate because I applied to Sports Management without much of my extra-curricular related to Sports or Management, but with my strong passion.
I know that Decisions are coming by December 15th but does anyone know if they are coming earlier? I heard last year or previous years they were released couple days before.
@richbilly can i PM you?
I will tell you there about my thoughts on it because I am also international.
@richbilly people are saying Thursday 4pm ET but i have no clue how reliable that is
Yes
@richbilly what are your stats like? what country did you apply from?
That’s what I’ve heard, too. They’re not releasing the actual day this year though, so it’ll be a bit of a surprise. It’s highly unlikely it’ll be on the weekend, though, so I’d say Thurs or Fri is our best bet.
Can anyone actually start filling out the summer housing application, it made me use my netID and it worked so I was wondering if this is a sign?
how do we log into our nyu housing portal. it says there is an error and try again later. is this a bad sign?
Hi! I applied to NYU Stern undergraduate for the class of 2024 as well. I have a 4.0 weighted gpa with 11 AP classes and a 35 ACT (6 currently in progress). Also, I have never taken a reg class so all my classes have been advanced/honors. Any advice?!
You’re certainly qualified, if not over qualified. It’s not unheard of for people with very high stats to get denied because it seems like a safety school. Also, if your EC’s aren’t strong and/or unique, that can sometimes be detrimental. But honestly, if you said NYU was your dream school, you’re more than fine.
Do you guys think Thursday is gonna be the day?
“It’s not unheard of for people with very high stats to get denied because it seems like a safety school.”
Not applicable to ED (I am assuming poster applied ED if posting in this thread) because you are bound to go if made an offer, and in any case Stern does attract a lot of high stats applicants because it’s so competitive.
@Rmehta14 , definitely very strong stats, so it will be down to your ECs and essays.
