Actually @diamondlife for Tisch Drama decisions are made by NYU admissions. The artistic review is done by the Tisch auditors but the actual decision to admit is made in admissions with the artistic review being 50% of the application and academics the other 50%. It may be different for Film or other non-Drama areas of Tisch, I don’t know, but I know for sure the film applicants have always gotten their decisions when the Drama applicants do… on the same date and at the same time when everyone else does. If you don’t believe me there are last year’s ED I/ ED II / RD threads that you can check. Good Luck!
Any clues on decision release time other than 12/15 ?
Never said I didn’t believe you ? also said I know decisions are released for EVERYONE by admissions on the same day.
Just going by some info a friend gave me who was accepted to film a couple of years ago. He was told that if Kanbar wants you you’re in because they only accept 7% of all applicants. I have no clue how Drama works.
And yeah… I have read those threads ad nauseam.
just to clarify, the decision might come out 4 pm eastern time right? on thursday…
so decisions come out tomorrow???
I thought it was December 15th - how did you get December 12th? Just curious!
a lot of people said tomorrow so…i guess…
From who/where? Just curious! I’m so nervous ahh
Dec 15th it is
yeh december 15th should be the date but it is on the weekend so i suspect it could come out on the 12th, 13th, or on the 14th. I believe this is what happened last year for EDI
@Zac123 That was posted like two years ago
Last year the decisions came out on Dec. 13th Thursday. There is a thread on here from last year which confirms that. The humane thing would be to publish either on Thursday or a Sunday so that next day the Univ is open and not closed for weekend in case applicants have questions. So that rules out Friday and Saturday for decisions.
people, can anybody log into the housing application portal? because I cant and it says there is an error and that I should try it again later. is this a bad sign?
@diamondlife she did not report her SAT. My guess is they started reading yours after the change was made. I wouldn’t worry about the SAT part. I’m not sure when hers posted as waived because I didn’t look at the portal until the end of last week. At that point everything but FAFSA was checked including her audition. It was a little different because she had auditioned the weekend of Nov. 18th.
Really hoping the decision comes out tomorrow. Want to get over this waiting.
fall 2020 is now available for me on housing but only for Washington dc
