@kayy6757 what the heck is that??? I did an Initalview before ED application and submitted it to NYU. But they never officially require an interview. Probably youāre applying for a major in drama?
nope i applied as undecided to NYUSH, maybe they requested an interview since Iām an international student?
Based on the latest published data for NYU intake (class of 2022), these SAT scores are totally in line for NYU, where the 25th-75th percentile was listed as 1350-1530 - it probably went up a little last year, but likely not by nearly enough to classify those as āmediocreā - median admitted SAT was 1480 for class of 2023 so those scores are in range. (If everyone from your school that applied last year had SAT scores above 1500, then 2/3 being accepted actually looks a little low for stats at the top end of their range?)
@momstress2020 My D applied ED1 last year and was accepted to Tisch (Drama) on Thursday, December 13 at 4 EST. She got an email the week before indicating the 13th would be the release date. I know I have said this already, but D had zero changes in advance. Best of luck!

Heyyyyy!!! I just saw this thread because the decisions are coming out soon and I canāt think about anything else hehe!! So I applied ED1 to CAS for sociology and im so nervous oh my god ahhhh but good luck to everyone!!!
I called NYU admissions just now, and they told me that there will be a confirmation email before we hear our decisions. I believe this means that they canāt come out today, so rest easy everybody.
Why are they being so sus about decisions? My lord.
@momstress2020 - believe me, I remember going through the same thing! My D had only summer housing up to the end and I was so sure that meant she wasnāt inā¦ My D applied regular decision and NYU was the last school she heard from (March 28) and the only BFA ādreamā she had left so my heart was breaking for her ā¦ and I also felt the same way - so glad she wasnāt riding the roller-coaster on this forum. Thereās so much bad information put out every time decisions are pending. Hang in there!
I wish NYU admissions would be a little more forthcoming ā¦ but they are late this cycle - usually by this time theyāve tweeted a firm date and that takes the anxiety level down a notch. I am pulling for your D (and everyone here) - hope you get good news soon!
