@Dancer2468 The Manhattan campus is a great experience. It’s beautiful, there’s loads of events and always stuff happening, and I already have internships lined up from their career events. Noho is full of trendy little shops and resturaunts, so everything is in walking distance and pretty much everything else in manhattan is 10 min subway ride away. (Not to mention Chick-fil-a is on our meal plan, and we went on a cruise during orientation that sailed right past the statue of liberty!). But tbh the Tandon campus (where I am) in brooklyn is low-key depressing cause they put 99% of the social life at manhattan, we’re not even allowed to take stem courses at the main campus. A lot of us engineering first-years are already writting our transfer apps. But again, main campus is great. All my friends love it over there.
That’s really good that you already have internships lined up! I love how your exposed to so many job opportunities and internships. I really do hope that I get in. It’s crazy because four years ago, I started reading the forums about NYU and watched a ton of videos. Now, I’m finally applying to my dream school!! Going to NYU would definitely be a good experience. @LapisLazumarril

me tooo anyone applied to tandon?
also for the section for your FAFSA, does it say “updated status expected mid december” for you guys too?
@CoffeeandTea22 your stats and ECs put you in with a very solid chance - the ACT/SATII/DE all help offset any uncertainty about home school grading and they are solid. Assuming your essays are decent, I’d personally think you have a good chance. Did you list an alternative school?
mine says that too - what does this mean?
mine says the same
@hersome @happytravis D was in the ED pool last year. Her FAFSA updated in the days leading up to acceptances being released. Until that time, there was a red x. Good luck!
Same here, I just applied to NYUAD as my only choice and God knows what happens.
Great, that’s reassuring! I listed the Shanghai campus and the Liberal Studies program as other programs of interest.
Did anyone apply to the school of professional studies?
i applied to schack institute of real estate as a recruited athlete.
What majors did you guys apply to?
Politics
Nursing
politics!
@hersome hopefully we’ll both get into CAS!
I’m planning on studying politics, psychology, and journalism while at Gallatin
