<p>I think everyone in my school knows that I’m applying NYU because I wear NYU’s hoodie everyday. When my teachers ask me where I’m applying, they just say good luck, which is very good. Only my close close friends know the exact notification date. One of them is a freshman in NYU. She said that she has been waiting for me for many months, lol =) I wholeheartedly wish I can be her classmate next year.</p>
<p>Same here, ohdogg, decided in Jr. High. Except, I proceeded to tell EVERYONE. They all know it’s my dream school and all tell me I’m already in.</p>
<p>It’s hard because I’ve heard it so much that I believe it, and if I don’t get in it’ll kill me.</p>
<p>I know for sure I’m skipping on the 18th. That’s Finals week and I’m exempt from all of them, so instead of sitting in class doing nothing waiting for the tests to end, I’m going out with a friend who’s in town for the week. Take my mind off of it until 5.</p>
<p>@leggggy woot woot go IB! And yes, I’m applying to Tisch too! For photo/imaging. Hbu? I have pretty good grades, but I go to an extremely competitive high school, so even though I have good grades, I’m NOT at the top of my class… 
The kids at my school are insane.</p>
<p>All my friends know I want to go too, Zimfan. I made that exact same mistake. Literally everyone knows :S </p>

<p>Once again, did all of you get a booklet or package from NYU after you applied? Since many people mentioned it, I’m scared for not getting one.</p>

And I don’t know about the booklets, I got a booklet even before I applied lol.</p>
<p>@HelloParis I checked out last year’s forum. Most of people got a booklet or a magazine from NYU after ED deadline and some of them were accepted. I did get many postcards and magazines from NYU before I applied but I’m nervous if the booklet means anything. Which program do you apply? I’m applying CAS.</p>
<p>@Leilala I applied to CAS as a journalism major but I also filled out the applications for LSP as well. Their program seems so exciting and I’d love to do LSP!</p>
<p>I never got a booklet. I’m not worried though, if NYU’s endowment can’t pay marginally for scholarships, I’m sure their PR budget isn’t too high. Especially considering they’re already such a desired school.</p>

<p>@leggggy @ohdogg Hey I’m an IB student too!!! What are your predicted grades?!? NYU is quite unclear about its IB Predicted Grade requirements and I’m kinda freaking out not knowing D:</p>

<p>I’m applying for steinhardt and they sent the booklet, a magazine, that early decision postcard and that “nyu is impressed with you” letter lol they have to spend a decent amount</p>
<p>I didn’t get a booklet. It might because I live in Central Europe though …</p>
<p>Just think, each one of us says that our grades aren’t good enough or we think we won’t get in but we have to remember: some of us WILL get in. </p>
<p>Also do you know what the letters after your initials mean? I have a feeling they tell us something haha. I’m grasping for any sort if intel at this point. Anyone else apply Tisch Dramatic Writing? I would love trade scripts if you don’t mind. Just to see the competition lol.</p>
<p>ithascometothis: But you live close, right? New Jersey? That might be why. A large majority of attending students are from the North East area.</p>
<p>Then again, anything any of us assume is really just speculation.</p>
<p>I hope the booklet is sent based on the major we’re applying. Maybe CAS doesn’t plan to send any booklet at all.</p>
<p>@HelloParis I checked the box that said “you agree to attend alternative program blah blah blah” too, and I also ranked the campuses of LSP. However, I didn’t write anything in the box under the ranking because I’m open to every campus of NYU actually. Now I’m nervous for not writing anything in that box:’(</p>
