A place where people stress about little boxes that aren’t checked yet. But in all seriousness, it’s where you check if your application materials have been received.

^ look into the e-mail they sent you that said that they received your application. Then log in with your NETID and password into Albert. Then, check the application status.

LOL that’s what I’m thinking too… @____@ i don’t even know if I like that prospect…

Noldi
I’m in the same boat as you too! Although I sent in my IB grades, I want them to have my SATs too… I sent all my scores in at once after I took my Nov SATs… But collegeboard says they have sent it already… Would it still take 2 weeks? Does it make a difference that I ordered the test scores to be sent before I had even seen my score for November?

do you think the people who got into LSP will hear back early again this year? based on last year’s CC thread, people who got rejected from their first choice but got accepted to the LSP heard back in late November (around the 29th and 30th) to around December 4th.

but again, LSP opened its doors this year, so I’m not sure if their acceptance/rejection letters will come out along with the rest of the schools on the 15th or come out earlier.

If it already says sent then you’re set. Mine says still pending.

Well, wondering if it’s even normal to have the test box not checked off at this time, seems pretty late to me

ohh okay i see…thanks for your help

just checked albert and it shows everything is good to go…now it the waiting game lol…anyone else freaking out???

Yeah… I’m pretty sure everybody else in this thread is. I’m going crazy over here, haha…

hahah when i first submitted my application i was like wow i have a lot of time til i hear back but it went by so fast and now its right around the corner haha

17 days feels like an eternity to me, don’t know about you guys… :P

each day is going to go by so slow…i dont know what im going to do on december 14th lol

according to last year’s CC thread, if you got LSP’d, you will find out soon.

Yeah omg Dec. 15 … like 16 days?

LOL I’m counting 18… Including the brutal half a day on the 15th… Till 3 o’clock in the afternoon for me… @_____@ I have no idea what my state of mind will be in that morning…

Check this please

Applied to CAS via Early Decision I (I will be completely satisfied with getting LSP’d). I am really worried about my credentials. My GPA was severely affected by multiple family situations that began in 10th grade and persists now, in addition to changing High Schools in 10th grade. I mentioned all of my circumstances to my guidance counselor and I made sure that he emphasized that these circumstances had a significant impact on my GPA. A prediction is much appreciated.

GPA: 3.3/4.0 (UW) 3.5/4.0 (W)
SAT: 1840 Math:590 Reading:590 Writing:690
SAT II: US-710
AP: US-4
Classes currently being taken: AP Macro/Micro Economics, AP Gov/Pol. (which includes the We The People debate team as an EC), AP Psychology, Honors College Calculus, Honors College English, Regular Spanish
Extracurriculars throughout High School: Jazz Band (9th [1st High School’s Advanced Jazz Band], 11th, 12th
We The People Constitutional Debate team (12th)
Honor Council (9th)
Amnesty International (10th, 11th, 12th)
I also play in a band outside of school that formed during the first quarter of sophmore year. We have recorded a demo and we just released an EP. We have play on a consistent basis (on average, at least once a month) and we have played outside of New York State on numerous occasions.

Recommendations: AP US (now my AP Gov) teacher, Honors English 11 teacher, and Honors Global History teacher 10th.

Every person I have showed my essay and supplements to have said nothing but great things about them.

Once again, a prediction is much appreciated.

amuhammed- I’m in no place to tell anyone if they will or will not get in but from what a read stern like at least a 3.7 unweighted and high math sat scores…but anything could happen in the craziness of the college admissions process!!

Did anyone else receive a stupid magazine from NYU in the mail today?

Yes, I received a magazine from NYU on Wednesday.

…stupid? I view anything sent to my house from NYU as a gift from the gods. :P

Nyu is stupid.
