<p>Two got into Dartmouth, one into Colombia, and 3 (or 4? not sure) were flat out rejected from Cornell from my school.</p>
<p>Thursday is the big day for a lot of EA/ED kids. LOTS of kids from my school are waiting to hear back from Yale SCEA.</p>
<p>I wonder how many MCC students are they going to admit this year in the ED1 round?</p>
<p>We aren’t to expect to receive the letters at exactly 5pm Eastern time on the 15th right? Because NYU said there is no exact time on the 15th and may delay 1-2 days?</p>
<p>On notice day, do are wait for email or mail? Or do we check the online status for possible notice?</p>

<p>I also wonder how big the MCC freshman group will be this year. It seems like a lot of people applied so hopefully they start expanding the major a bit.</p>
<p>you know how on the common app our application status is complete and it says “downloaded” or whatever? is the supplements part supposed to say “downloaded” also? because mine doesnt…</p>

<p>I actually applied to CAS, but they emailed me and said I should explore Gallatin as a better fit. What do you guys think that means?</p>
<p>I have a question for anyone enrolled currently at Tisch in any of the 7 studios… NYU has been my dream school since I was in 8th grade so I decided to apply early decision to up my chances as much as possible. Here are my statistics:</p>
<p>Academics:
GPA- 3.8 out of 4.0
SATS- 1700
Class Rank- 83 out of 425 (top 20%)
I have taken AP, honors, and CP level classes all through out high school</p>

I was also a finalist in the national classical singer competition last year.</p>
<p>i did early decision 1 so I will be finding out this week. I know my SATS are low but I’m hoping that all of my other academic achievements and extracurriculars still keep me under consideration.</p>
<p>Grades are not everything they also consider other areas. So I think u r fine… make ur essays strong</p>

<p>All I’m doing is worrying about whether I’ll actually receive my decision on Thursday… can you guys imagine how much it would suck to have to wait until Monday?</p>
