who are all the people in this thread who applied to Tisch? Any for acting, specifically musical theater? I feel like I’m all alone surrounded by CAS & Stern applicants =P

btw my albert still says tisch. no change to lsp for me. but best of luck to those of you who’s did change! hopefully it means you are in! && as i’ve said many times, good luck to the rest of you too! we are almost done going through this stressful roller coaster! hopefully we will all be students in the fall together!! (:

Sooo, has anyone applied to Tisch Photo & Imaging?? I think my stats and portfolio are pretty good but they only accept ~8% of applicants. SOOOOO NERVOUS! <3pounding. Plus im from po-dunk kansas :] lol

Decisions are 3 days away and i am really starting to get nervous… I applied to CAS and my stats are pretty good. Does anyone know if NYU is big on legacy, my dad graduated from stern undergrad and grad school

not sure how that relates lol but he has done very well… i wonder how much nyu takes legacy into consideration as they never asked if you have a relative who went or currently goes to NYU… but then again, in the parental information section of the common app, you indicate where your parents graduated from

@cliffhanger loll i know Sternies generally do pretty well, but I’ve also heard that it’s really difficult for internationals to get internships cuz of visa issues… =

Hi! Sorry but can I know your stats? I applied to pre-law too and it’s rare to see people who apply to it.
And to everyone else… hi! Fellow ED applicant here. Lol, I just googled my horoscope for December. Lets see what it says.

I hope you guys all get in. I myself am applying the ED2 round, but I’ve stopped thinking about it really. Honestly, I was super frantic and posted like seven chance threads in a week in many forums. I got a ton of responses, and none of them can be really perfect. Honestly, I’m just going to see what happens. If I don’t get into NYU, I’ll find my place. And so will you guys, so don’t worry! Good luck all (:

Hey everyone,
I applied ED1 too. Needless to say, it’s the only thing I can focus on and it seems like I’m in good company. Haha. Anyways, I applied to CAS for Art History and I had the same problem with my application status changing to GLS in the core program. I called the office of undergraduate admissions and they said not to worry- that it was just a problem with albert since it’s a relatively new system. Just thought I’d pass this news along!
