I’m in the same boat with the top 30% ranking and lower GPA. My GPA weighted cumulative is only a 3.95, but this year and last year it was over a 4.5. I hope the upward trend and hard class schedule (12 APs by graduation) will make up for it.

I sent in SATs (2220), ACTs (34), and two SAT IIs (Math II, 760) (US History, 700).

I applied CAS for Politics. NYU is my dream school, the 15th is going to be a stressful day hanaha :)

^Should be similar to the overall NYU Admission rate, possibly a little bit higher. The reason its not that much higher is that generally, the pool who applies ED 2 to NYU may not be as strong as those applying RD, as in RD you have the Ivy, MIT applicants to apply NYU as a safety, where’s ED 2 many people use it as a reach/higher reach, and this is often reflected in the acceptance rates.

So I kinda had a major case of senioritis last quarter… (first quarter was pretty solid though). So I am very hesitant to send my semester grades, does anyone know if you have to?

Phhhhhew (huge sigh of relief). My seniorists should get too bad as I am predicting a mix of As and Bs with the occasional high C. Hopefully that wouldnt be grounds for rescinding my admissions on the off chance that I get in.

I keep checking my Albert but nothing has changed for me. Reading the old threads, I think people didn’t see changes up until as much as a week from the decision date.

What’s even more strange is that I’m on the other side of the screen; for three years, I have stared at the nervous reactions of those in CC waiting for their decision. The role has been switched. What goes around does come back around. Lol
