Hey guys,

I know they say it doesnt matter whether you choose the embark or the common application, but i want to hear your opinions about it. Do you guys really think it makes a difference to choose one or the other?

The same goes for asking for financial aid.. apply for fafsa or not ? would it give you a higher chance if you don't apply for financial aid ?

thanks

im asking because i was checking the differences between the two applications and i accidentally started both. is that bad ? I didnt submit it yet.

i dont know if this matters but i'm applying as a transfer

My D is a freshmen this year and she did the Common Application online and also submitted the NYU supplement online.

thank you for replying. is your D in stern ? mind if you can tell me your D's stats when she applied ? Was she a transfer ?

My D is in Tisch in the department of drama. She did the Common App and the NYU supplement online and also had to audition in person in New York.

No, she is not a transfer.
