Did anyone apply to the global liberal studies program?
@pineapple213 yes I have been asking the same question several times…Somebody on the thread answered me that this refers to the high school applicants who are entering NYU as freshmen. I have asked NYU admission and they told me sometimes they required midterm, sometimes they don’t. I was not asked for submitting it so I worried that would be a bad indication.
@yyyyyyyy I just thought it was weird, b/c I don’t remember seeing it there prior to recently. I don’t think I’ve received any email though, and I submitted my mid-term report too so…
@Pineapple213 is it checkbox on your Albert ? I don’t have any like this
I am an external transfer who has already completed a year in school, so I believe that my test scores are not needed. But, I just saw on site that it says by status - ‘requested.’ Does that mean that I do need to send it? Or is it a glitch. Has anyone else had that happen?
@Pineapple213 I beleive if you have compelted 24 transferable units you do not need to send in high school stuff. My understanding is if you are in the middle of a second semester you still need to send in high school stuff, really it is for sophomores to apply without those scores who are entering as juniors. However, beat thing to do is to call admissions
@tyk0012 @justthatkid To those of you accepted, is your financial aid information available on your Albert profile? The admissions email says to accept the financial aid package, but mine says I don’t yet have access to aid for this year. The amount of aid I get will determine whether or not I accept the admission offer.
@muffinpoptarte Oh, I actually meant that i am in my second year now, going to be a junior and so I thought that was weird. But, I’ll ask. Thanks.
Congrats to all the were accepted! So unbelievably happy for each of you. Question to all about midterm reports: Did you submit them upon request? Or did you submit them just in case they were required? I did not submit a midterm report so now I am worried (again…lol)
@closec I submitted the midterm report with my application - before anyone asked me for it.
@yellowplane I called and asked. The FA office said to expect an aid package sometime around the first week of May.
@yellowplane It says “Award Access Not Available” for me. The amount of aid also determines if I’m going to go or not. Fingers crossed!!
Has anyone heard back today?
Anyone hear back from Stern???
Anyone hear back from steinahrdt?
probably yes but they just don’t go on this forum.
Has anyone heard back from TISH?
Ugh im waiting for Tisch…
@Pineapple213 @closec Personally I have completed 77 credits after 2 years in college (but I bet many of them wouldnt be approved since these credits were earned from schools outside of US) and I did send my highschool report but did not send midterm report because it was not requested and I don’t go to college this semester. If I did I’d be junior and there would be too much credits. I guess midterm report is required for sophomore transfer but I thought highschool report was mandatory for junior transfers too. Is it really an option?
@foosball which one did u apply for Tisch
for everyone waiting for Tisch, is your portfolio check marked in ‘app status’ and/or does your FA say “award access not available”? Thanks
