That’s true! You should be fine
wait, jdevo, was that in response to me? lol
Have you guys checked out the clubs and organizations yet?
@tbbsu18 you’re awfully optimistic about getting an acceptance lol
lol, faith is a indescribable thing my friend.
Does anyone know how many people they admit to stern as transfer students?
i heard the number was really low; like 25-50
did you submit sat scores?
@tbbsu18, could you please post your stats? I also applied to Stern.

I’ve been accepted to Pepperdine and Boston University, waiting on my #1 choice NYU
applied for CAS, psychology
GPA: 3.88 (most likely 3.91 after this semester)
Credits: Soon to be ~60
Midterm Report: Sent in with 3.95 (4 As and 1 A-) along with good professor comments
ECs: Train seeing eye dogs, slam poetry club, international club, etc.
Extras: Half asian, speak Mandarin, studied and lived in Shanghai and HongKong, all my essays pertained to NYU
Letters of rec: From the head of the gerontology department, we had a pretty close teacher professor bond and she liked me a lot
SAT: Not submitting… unnecessary i’m 20 not 17
I can’t imagine seeing Washington Sq. Park from my dorm, going to Broadway musicals on weekends, etc. NYU let us hear back soon please
I go to Pepperdine right now, I’d highly recommend going there over Boston if you don’t get into NYU. It’s an absolutely amazing school and the community is like no where else. The only reason im applying to transfer is because NYU’s finance program at Stern is world class, otherwise I wouldn’t want to leave.
I will not submit my midterm report until next week when my another grade is available. Won’t that be a little bit late considering decisions are gonna be out starting from next week. I am so nervous. And my midterm grade report will only include two classes grades since my another class midterm is next week. Darn, quarter system.
Just for anyone in Tisch (film esp.), I checked the previous 5 years, n the past three its been between the 5th and the 7th, but in '12 and '11 most heard back like mid mid may (15-23).
The people who got in really early weren’t lying as some people suggested… NYU said they’d release decisions early April-early May. My boyfriend got in NYU as a transfer student on April 7th, which is super early…
People already got into Stern?
check previous pages, someone got into Stern.
who got into stern?
just checked the thread from 2015 Transfers. Most of them got their decisions either the week of May 15th or the week after. And that goes for all the programs
Yes, who got into Stern? I cannot find any post saying someone did.
I was checking my NYU Albert earlier today and saw Student tab with housing and other related links in addition to Applicant tab. I don’t think I’ve seen Student tab before. Does anyone else see it on NYU Albert?? I am a bit confused…
@japanesemafia me neither. I am not sure if they change the interface this year?
