@orangebanana @creepycupcake I’m transferring from FIT too!
How do we see if we got housing or not?
Edit: I was accepted on Monday, and am not seeing any information in the portal about housing.
Got my third rejection letter from Stern :(. I applied every single year since senior year in high school. This was my last chance to get in and I’m not going to lie I wanted to cry. This was my dream school. I’ve worked my butt off the past two years to get the grades I have in order to have a shot. If anyone is curious or still waiting to hear back, My Stats are a 3.88 GPA from Pepperdine University and a 1460 (Math+Reading) for the SAT
So sorry for everyone that got bad news today. You’re more than a rejection letter, never forget it!
Damn it how come I am not getting any decisions notifications from NYU and other universities?
For NYU I applied for International Relations which is CAS (Junior Transfer) and it seems some people who applied for CAS in this forum have already received their letters… Do you guys think this is a good sign given the fact that I’m still alive? I’m pretty sure that review has been started as I’ve completed my application in the end of Feb.
@laaventador i’m in the same boat, polysci junior transfer, they’ve had all my documents since january and i haven’t received a notification of admission decision…
Seriously if they send me a rejection letter, I can take it but this waiting for nothing feels like hell @frenchie2729
Yeah I haven’t heard anything either.
@Shan5696 super sorry to hear that, you’re at a great university w. great GPA, don’t worry! Grad school!?
If anyone else got rejected do you mind sharing your stats (gpa and scores) just to see how qualified everyone else was and didn’t get in either?
@laaventador i know omg, i just want to know already. I hate rolling admissions… like i wish they’d just release them all at once
@Sxsxjx I’m not going to go to NYU for grad school out of spite. I’m shooting for Upenn or Harvard. This isn’t the end for me it’s just a road bump, I know where I want to be in life and I’m just going to have to alter my course a bit haha
@frenchie2729 Have you applied for political science (Politics?) I chose International Relations as my first preference and politics for second option. I was wondering if the entire social science department in CAS is coming up late with decisions…
Damnnn the waiting is killing me
Anyone heard from Tandon yet???
@laaventador I was accepted for Politics so it’s not the whole social science dept
Also junior transfer here… I applied to CAS Econ major and haven’t heard anything yet… The waiting is killing me:(
Thought I would add to the thread, I was accepted to NYU GLS program on May 1st.
Not April 1st?
@hf1234, darn, is that major still available for transfers to apply? I wanted to choose LSP as my alternative choice, but was told by the admission officer that transfers were not allowed to choose that major on account of the system of their curriculum.
