found a glitch in my Student Center, just a couple of words that used to appear and now it’s gone. but still chill my day up
My financial aid tab has changed and now shows the year 2016. Good sign, bad sign?
I called admissions and the woman I spoke with said that Steinhardt is still reviewing apps in committee. They’re sending decisions 1-2 times a week. I told her that I have a reply deadline for another school that can’t be extended (because I’ve already requested an extension), so she said she’d let the committee know and try to move up my application. Don’t worry if you don’t have changes in Albert; I don’t, and she said that the committee just hasn’t looked at my app at all.

I just rejected my NYU offer yesterday because of the little aid I got from them. Best of luck to those of you who are still waiting for your decisions and hopefully my rejection opened up a spot for you.
@keeksc2014 I emailed the admission officer who reached to me in the first place, and asked him to inform me when he received my faxed report. But so far, he hasn’t replied yet.
Does the change indicate a chance of acceptance though?
I have no change in my Albert. So frustrated, I think I may be rejected.
@CooperJuniorI do you think they only change it in the morning, or throughout the day?
@cerniglie I noticed a change in my Financial Aid Summary too! I was thinking the same thing… hopefully it’s a good sign. @creepycupcake Cool! No not yet, it’s in committee right now so hopefully I will find out this coming Monday.
In the Student Center, the “Hold” section, it used to show “Non FA Eligible Form of Study”. Now it’s gone when I check today. Not sure what it means lol, but something disappear still makes me crazy
@fitnyc it shows 2016 for you? Someone else has both 2016 and 2017 shown
@waffle111 It just shows 2017 actually, which I thought was a bit strange.
It shows both 2016 and 2017 for me but i think thats because i applied last year. Ive seen this in previous threads and i think your fine as long as the box with Aid Year/Institution/Aid Year Description.
My albert changed somewhere between 8-10PM this Wed. if anyone was wondering.

actually I attended NYU as a visiting student during the summer, so I guess maybe some of you won’t be able to see the Student Center section under Students’ tab.
The Hold section is after you clicked into Student Center, it is on the left hand side.
oh well, whatever, let’s wait for Monday

@keeksc2014 don’t worry, I finished my summer class they still have the student tab for me all year long. It’s normal if you guys did not attend summer class or haven’t get accepted yet.
