@thedescutnerd Thank you!!!
Wow that’s amazing; to be notified so quickly just leaves me speechless. You guys must be soooo relieved, can’t even imagine how good that must feel hahahahah lol
congrats @chileusa96 and @rik123 so happy for you guys!! and @chileusa96 would you mind PMing me you stats too?
And for people asking about housing I’ve seen on their admissions blog that since housing isn’t guaranteed the earlier you apply the somewhat better is it. tbh idk if it’s first-come first-serve basis – I’m pretty sure it’s not, but they did say that if you really wanna live on campus it’s best you apply for it as soon as possible. (:
@TransferKid97 and @dino12487 thanks a ton!!
Those who got accepted into CAS, have you guys done any interview?
@rubberducky123 I didn’t do an interview… I don’t think interviews are common for transfers
btw guys, in your personal opinion how much do you think HS gpa’s affect your application if you’re a sophomore transfer/starting sophomore year in nyu? Their website says if you’re only in your 1st semester as a freshman it’s weighed on the most, but I did kinda shit in HS so I’m still really scared lol
@dino12487 Yeah I’m going to start as a sophomore … and to be honest , my college GPA is significantly higher than my HS GPA… so I would say if you show significant improvement in your college semesters, it should definitely help you
@rik123 I’m insanely jealous of your position. Please switch places with me.
@rik123 I’ve had the same mindset, and I intend to just so I do believe it’ll help me however there’s always that inner fear that the reason they’ll turn me down will be my HS grades, especially knowing there’s probably a good amount of competition w/ transfers
Hey guys, I applied to Stern, but I also put down CAS as one of my other choices. Did you hear of anybody who got turned down at Stern, but accepted into CAS? I don’t even know if that’s possible
@cjeong98 From what I understand, NYU initially considers you for the first school you choose. If you get in, then they accept you for that school. If not, then they consider you for your second choice (which you specify on the application). So I definitely think it’s possible for that scenario to happen
@chileusa96 did you by any chance have everything checked off on albert when you got your decision?? i applied march 17th to tisch and i have everything except my high school transcripts checked off so far
I applied March 31st…is that a bad thing?
I don’t know why everyone applied so early!
i’m nervous that more decisions will be coming out tomorrow cause the spring 2017 transfers heard back on mondays and fridays :(( good luck guys!!
@annadragon saME GOOD LUCK GUYS
I could hear from Vanderbilt and NYU tomorrow. @-)
I wonder if Gallatin comes out with decisions tomorrow too…you guys I can’t stop thinking about this!!!
Anyone out there who has applied to stern as an external transfer 2017?
@Kartikeyakatty I applied to Stern as an external transfer!
