@nyutransfer123 Hi! I applied to Stern, and no not yet… I am really nervous because as you may already know the competition is no joke, so I feel that my chances are so low 
I applied to the Global Liberal Studies Program at NYU and still haven’t heard anything but I do have all the boxes checked off. Has anyone heard anything from the Global Liberal Studies?
@cjeong98 I know !!! me too!!! I applied March 10th and havent seen any changes in my Albert at all (I really feel like im not getting in) I will let you guys know if anything happens !!

@nyutransfer123 Yeah, I have no changes on my Albert either. Did you put down a second choice on your application, like CAS or some other college you have interest in?
@marti38 LOL sorry about that! I don’t know if there’s anyone on this thread who applied to the college of nursing, but if this helps, one of the admissions representatives told me two weeks ago that they were currently evaluating nursing applications. Good luck! 
@marti38 I submitted my application February 20th and have not heard much since then. Some admissions officers say we should hear back before end of May and some just say anytime up until June 15 :/. The only changes I have seen so far is the fact that I can apply for housing for the academic year 2017-2018 on my housing portal and in my housing portal it shows my NYU email.
@1livelaughlove yeah I was told that we should expect our NYU email info within 2 weeks after we deposit. Then they will contact us regarding important info via the NYU email
@NYUhopeful_1198 That does offer some relief, maybe a little added anxiety… I’m not sure at this point haha
@mpm1201 I think you’re in they just need to send you the confirmation. I can’t think of another reason they would let you apply for housing and give you an e-mail.
I applied to the college of nursing but there has been no change to my Albert besides everything being checked off.
But I will most likely be going to Northeastern instead.
@marti38 have you tried checking your housing portal? Thanks! I hope it means something, but I am trying not to make it a big deal in my head because just as it could mean something it could not, but yeah try checking your housing portal, maybe you have that, too!
I mean… I’v never head back from the school after I was asked to submit my midyear report two weeks ago, neither I got any changes on my Albert. And basically that’s the only time i got some notifications from them. And now I guess I just need to be patient and wait for another week, hopefully. Just keep in faith, guys.
@mpm1201 Ya I don’t have anything on there. Although, there was a logistical error from my current school, where my college report ended up going out a month after my application
I haven’t posted in here yet but I thought I’d let ya’ll know that I was accepted into CAS on Tuesday with absolutely no expectation to get in because (like the some of you worrying) I had NONE of the Albert changes. Also, I applied on February 28, and many people who applied in late March were getting decisions before me. With that being said, don’t lose hope! The process seems to be a lot more random than you think.
Also, I’ve been trying to apply for housing through housing.nyu.edu/apply but it isn’t loading. Is the website down?? Do any of ya’ll have the same problem?
@marti38 I see, well either way maybe they have not gotten to our applications yet. It seems that the changes usually occur like 2 days before getting the admissions decision and if not I guess it is not a big deal since some people have gotten in without any changes on their Albert. Let’s hope for the best and hopefully they answer soon!
