@arg101 it really depends… some days they don’t send out decisions til 6 pm and others they send them in the morning at 9 am. i got accepted this past tuesday at 12 pm so it’s really just random. there haven’t been any decisions past 6 pm though so you can expect it to come before then. make sure you keep updating your albert because i didn’t get my email til 5 hours later lol

I got an email today asking me if I would like to provide explanation for withdrawing from a course last semester. Good to know I’m still in consideration! Maybe we’ll get more decisions tomorrow. Good luck everyone!
@jacobtylamb That’s interesting! Which school did you apply to? and was that course a prerequisite for your major?
@NYUhopeful_1198 I applied to CAS. It was a required course for (one of) my majors at my old college. I’m a poli sci and Jewish studies double major. Not sure if NYU knows that since you can only list one major on the application and I listed poli sci.
I really really hope the result comes out today… Just like everyone who’s been waiting for a while now, I am getting somewhat impatient 
hey so this morning i checked albert and there was a students page and an applicant page as well as a housing page. Is that a good sign? How long does it ususally take for a decision to come out after this?
@jmill18 This might sound stupid, but does the applicant and student page pop up before you log on to albert or after? Because on the albert page there are two tabs for student and applicant.

it shows up before you log in for everyone!

@jacobtylamb good luck!! i hope you get in i had a W on my transcript from last semester too and they didn’t ask me about it lol i think it was probably because it wasn’t required for my major though

Mpm1201. The change that shows your nyu email and that you can apply for housing means you are accepted. You should also check to see if you have a financial aid award because sometimes that shows up before you get your admissions decision. Congrats!
@annadragon Hey do you think that having two tabs (applicant and student) after logging in is a good sign? I only had the applicant tab until 2-3 days ago. Did this change happen for you before you got accepted?
@Yessir123 that’s a good sign. Do you see some housing related stuff in Albert? After I submitted my deposit my Albert has those two tabs.
@maximus22 I actually have that as well on my housing portal. I have academic year 2017-2018 with all my information and NYU email address. I thought everyone has that?
@maximus22 My FA still says “award access not available,” but thanks, I hope you are right and that it does indeed mean I am accepted.
