Do you guys think they’ll send out the first wave this week? They’ve sent out a wave in the first week of April for the last few years
Guys I have not received a Portal ID yet and when I call admissions they tell me that they can’t find my application (i submitted march 31 so BEFORE the deadline)
I’m freaking out
They prob haven’t received it yet
You can check your common app portal to see if they’ve downloaded the application.

@NathaliaNhem NYU Albert is the login portal for applicants. Which other login portal is everyone referring to?
@zachsambition They’re telling them to check on the common app to see if NYU has downloaded their application so they’ll be able to view it on Albert. There is no other portal

@mishk90 The lady I talked to in admissions said we could hear by May. Frankly, I think they’re just giving us general possibilities because all of them have different takes on when we’ll hear by. I think some of us could hear as soon as next week.
Tbh I wouldn’t give to much weight to what they say. For example USC says that people will receive a decision by the end of May. People are already receiving admission offers.
@zachsambition oh. I have not received my login portal information yet, so I didn’t know what it was called. I’m getting worried.
@NathaliaNhem I’m sure it’s nothing. I would call admissions just to check on it though. I believe I received my login information about 3 days after submitting on Common App

hi! new to the thread here…couple of things: 1. did anyone apply for steinhardt and more specifically for applied psychology? 2. did anyone else submit their application on april 1st? nyu told me that there is no disadvantage in submitting it on the day of the deadline, but does anyone know of any potential disadvantages? such as a later admission decision? Thanks in advance and i hope to see us all there in the fall!!!
