@transfergirl3123 the rolling admissions is probably for those who submitted everything right away, but since most of us submitted things weeks apart, we are not prioritized.

Am I the only one here that not complete application still? NYU still didn’t receive my college transcript. Also, I have a standardized test hold. I am upcoming junior, when they receive my college transcript, standardized test hold will be removed right?
@yankeebanger Did you submit your materials prior to submitting your application? If so then they would not have had an application to file the information to. if not, then they just may still be organizing it all. This weekend was weekend of the square for freshman admits, so they also have to focus on them,
Also, @everyone it is important to remember that they have multiple admissions people. Students work in the admissions office for phone calls, the dean runs the blog, and then assistant deans and undergraduate admission workers go over the apps. So many different groups of people are working in this process, so there will be inconsistencies.

Hey everyone! I was accepted to NYU on April 15th and thought I would share my stats.
Background:
-Out of state
-Current college freshman
-Caucasian female
-CAS Journalism major
-Strong essay
Stats:
-GPA: 3.86 in high school, 3.81 first semester, 4.0 second semester (so far)
-Dean’s List Fall semester 2017
-3 letters of recommendation
EC’s in college:
-Yearbook Photographer
-Sorority (Chapter Photographer)
-Photography club
*was very involved in high school with 3-4 leadership positions
Work Experience
-Assistant at an SAT/ACT tutoring company
NYU has always been my dream school, but I was waitlisted last year when I applied as a high school senior (and honestly was too scared to step out of my comfort zone and go to a big city school). I’ve been pretty unhappy at my large state school, but I am still hesitant about transferring to NYU - it’s a big change! It would be awesome if we started a Facebook page for potential transfers.

@nyugirl187 You got in on a Sunday and during weekend on the square? That’s interesting. I’d think that they wouldn’t be in office to release admission on an event Sunday. I was waitlisted last year as a senior as well and I’m at a state school! Our stats seem close. I’d love to stay in touch if both go! Do you have snapchat or messenger?
Did EVERY APPLICANTS HERE submitted the midterm report? cuz I heard it’s optional, not mandatory.
I did not submit it yet, and I have not been asked to submit it yet…

@HiGuysImIrene I submitted my midterm report. But I don’t think it’s required. I submitted it just because I had it lying around so why not

@nyugirl187 hey girl I’m a journalism major too!! I got accepted in the first wave two weeks ago, and have pretty similar stats (I’m at a state school too). We should def keep in touch if we both end up attending!
