@amar98 @skyleigh Last year the earliest Tisch Film Tv decision was out on the 25th, so hopefully next week we will be seeing some updates haha
@skyleigh also I checked my website, no slideroom visits, but there are two vists from New York and also I checked out videos I put on the website, most of them have 1 or 2 views from New York. I think they are starting the portfolio review last week.

@tdtdtdtdtdtd Probably! I haven’t seen any NY activity but I had a problem with my college transcript at first so maybe that’s why. And maybe they check off portfolios when they’re done?
@skyleigh I asked someone who was accepted to Film and TV last year. She doesn’t have her Portfolio checked off even when she got the offer. So they might not even bother checking the box. Also she told me last year they put accepted students into the system even before giving students the offer. So if you can log into the nyu bursa or orgsync nyu that means you are in. But it might be different this year cuz I tried and I can log in no problem, and i also asked some of my friends who applied transfer, all of them can log in. So I don’t know if this method is still working. If any of us are lucky, we should be hearing decisions next week
@LIAILI my friend is applying for the cinematic study, her portfolio still havent checked off yet. But a girl last year told me that you might not get your portfolio checked off even after you get the offer. they just don’t bother check the box lol
@tdtdtdtdtdtd historically the film students find out after CAS. I was told by my admissions counselor that I can expect a decision no later than May 1 (i’m applying CAS econ). If I was film I would realistically expect to hear decisions sometime in early may (like the first week, which is when the largest wave went out last year)
@msport Thanks for the info! I was just checking last year’s post people are getting their offers pretty early like april 25th. But i can definitely imagine it takes longer to process since we have the portfolio to review. Just hope mine can be out sooner than later.
@tdtdtdtdtdtd yeah im able to access bursar and i have an NYU student ID on the site and on the housing too. not sure if this means anything but my portfolio and HS transcript haven’t been checked off
Will they give out decisions next week? For Gallatin applicants?
Anyone knows if they normally give out rejections on Monday or Friday?
When I logged in the NYU housing payment from Alberta, it shows my student ID. Does it mean anything?

@tdtdtdtdtdtd that’s the exception, not the norm; film students definitely find out last compared to the rest of the students - it’s a fact! Stern & Tisch have always found out towards late april/early may, whereas CAS has started rolling since like april 4? 
@msport oh yeah true I mean it’s almost late April so just wish they can let us know sooner cuz we have a summer skl required and need to plan early lol.
@amar98 Yeah i don’t think they are putting students into the system first this year. everyone has the access now. just gonna sit and wait haha
Hey, new to the thread - anyone here waiting on a decision from Tisch drama? Has anyone gotten their decision yet? My artistic review was on April 9, which isn’t too long ago but I’m already ridiculously anxious.
Hello everyone! Just a heads up, I was told by the engineering department that I was getting my decision on the 25th of April. They told me about a week ago.
I was accepted last year as a transfer student but I had to decline my acceptance due to military service. Sadly, at NYU transfer students can’t differ acceptances.
Hi, also new to the thread. Anyone else have their housing portal change so Fall 2018 is available? Also if I click on financial aid on Albert the years 2018 and 2019 are there now, although it says something like inquiry access denied, anyone else have that? This all popped up on Thursday.
@DelaneyQuinn Hey there. I’m also ridiculously anxious waiting on a decision from Tisch Drama, seriously, my anxiety and expectations are not even healthy anymore at this point lol. I’m assuming you auditioned in LA, right? I auditioned on April 5th in NYC and my audition went really well, and my interview was great too but at this point I’m trying not to get my hopes up cause I have a 3.28 GPA and that’s not good for NYU, even though I was on the Dean’s list last semester. All I know is that I really really wanna get into Tisch. Oh, I’m also an international student, I don’t know if that works in my favor lol
