had a terrible feeling I will be one of those who get decisions late May and it’s gonna be rejection… I think they already give out all the decisions today, rejection or offer… its driving me crazy omg

@tdtdtdtdtdtd I checked Albert at 10:30, and my transfer credit report was there and a purple button that said admissions decision showed up!! Congrats to those accepted!

College GPA: 3.97 at a small liberal arts college in NY
Extracurriculars: Editor of school humor magazine, organizer of school film festival
I wrote my Why NYU essay about how I like NYU’s course offerings and the department’s close knit community.
I wrote my Common App Essay on how my current college does not have a strong film studies department. I also wrote about how I hope to make film more accessible to the underprivileged and minorities.
I’m didn’t see my recommendations, so I’m not sure how they were. I had one from a professor I had last year and another from a film professor that I have had for four semesters in a row. I had good relationships with both professors, so I am assuming they were good.
I submitted an eight-page director’s study for my portfolio.

Got accepted to Tisch Interactive Media Arts this morning. International student transferring as a sophomore.

March 20 and my confidential was not complete until April 20
@jsjsfilm I applied in early February and got my portfolio checked off on April 28. I didn’t have the housing change, but I had A financial change (not sure if it is THE financial aid change). My financial aid went from “Award Access Not Found” (or something like that) to a chart that said “2018/New York University/Inquiry Access Denied.”

My college transcript still says missing. I emailed them about it and they only fixed my HS transcript.
I GOT ACCEPTED earlier to day but tbh I wan’t expecting it. Thought it might come out tmrw lol! I was fting with my friend until about 12:00 my friend hang up and I went to check my albert.
I applied on 4/1, literally three hours before the application was due.

So only one rejection from stern thus far? Just got a rejection from Cornell yesterday so I don’t wanna bring my hopes up. By the way, called admissions and they said take the housing portal with a grain of salt. It’s likely that if you just applied for housing, Housing office wants to get a head start with potential acceptances. (doesn’t mean ur getting accepted)
