Hi, I have applied to transfer to Tisch game design as a sophomore! I still haven’t heard anything yet, has anyone from game design gotten results yet?

I know Georgetown has a thing where the weekend before June 1 theres a massacre and everybody gets rejected… is there a thing like this for nyu

Think about it this way: if you haven’t heard back by now your chances of being rejected is 90%. Add 1% to every week that passes by. Use your best judgment. I hope you all have a wonderful academic year ahead wherever you go.

@extracrispy that’s not necessarily true since there are still entire majors who haven’t heard back yet. I understand what you’re saying but there’s no reason to kill people’s hopes. Unless you are an admissions officer you have no way of knowing what’s going to happen, just like the rest of us. Try to be positive.
Yeah I was just about to say… I’ve only heard of one person’s results from stern…

@extracrispy HOLD UP sit your crispy tail down. Maybe that applies for you, but each and every one of us here worked hard, and I’m not going to just settle for “we’re probably not getting in.” A more reasonable notion would be that they’re on the brink about many of us with such limited space. I don’t know who you are, and you just showed up, but you can keep your ideals to yourself. People here should be focusing on finishing up their academic yeas positively rather than mourning over something that has not even happened yet.
To any student reading all of this, just have faith that life will work out the way it is supposed to! Work hard, and finish strong because it would suck to have given up and let your grades slide only to get in and they see that you’ve stopped trying.

game design here too. no decision so far. I guess I will be staying in my current school’s game major. 
@blusoccerg 3.78 when applied but has been steadily improving. I’m a sophomore at a UC.
I think my internship at a top ranking PR agency might have helped a lot. I also got a recommendation from my internship mentor. I guess MCC reviews application holistically.
