Just got my decision. I did not get in, but I have a 3.5 GPA so it is not a surprise. I had 2 good letters. of rec and a decent essay.

Rejected this morning, I’m doing a transfer track to Columbia University instead!
Can I just say I’m slightly relieved? I wasn’t sure how good of a culture fit NYU would be for me (long story short, I’m not a communist), and going to Columbia through Queens College ends up being much cheaper overall and ends with a degree from an Ivy.

I could access Orgsync, housing payments, etc., but no changes on financial aid/transfer credits.
I will say, NYU needs to work on the security of their platforms/dashboards! I could (but didn’t) upload files on Classes, including .exe files! You can also find the personal information of enrolled students if you know how to look. I was also able to bookmark events not open to the public which gave specific locations and times for meeting, and see members of clubs who confirmed being able to attend.
