Hey everyone… today I got rejected from MCC. I am deeply saddened by the news. I really thought that this is where i was meant to be, but it just wasn’t in God’s plan for me. Anyways, just wanted to give a heads up to people still waiting for MCC that my college GPA was a 4.0. My extra curricular or activities were a fulltime visual merchandising manager for TUMI Inc, and Classical Ballet training. I had two letters of rec from two professors. One had a doctorate degree from Duke and the other a doctorate from SMU. I had a strong personal essay. With much love, I wish each and every one of you a beautful college career. Please don’t be discouraged if you don’t get in. Keep the drive, keep the ambition. And to those who did or will get accepted, live the beautful life of NYC that I didn’t get the chance to. Don’t waste this oppurtunity and keep striving for excellence. Best wishes.

I JUST GOT INTO MCC!
MCC in New York and for anyone wondering about my stats, I have a 3.8 GPA, incoming sophomore from an LA community college, 5 EC’s but none really related to my major (high school band, dance, hospital foundation volunteer, etc), one letter of rec from my english professor, i think my essay was really good and i talked about how nyu was my dream and how i was waitlisted last year as a first year applicant and its pushed me to work harder
