NYU Fall 2020 Transfer

I’m applying Gallatin as well, good luck!

Nice! From where? Do you know anything about average gpa for Gallatin or what they look for in our application?

@dood523 I am currently at Indiana University! And I’m honestly not sure. Wbu?

I’m currently at ASU, already got into Whitman and William & Mary. Gallatin doesn’t release anything regarding admission statistics. They mostly review extracurriculars and essays. What kind of major you wanting to make?

What’s the deadline to make a decision? If I’m accepted and unable to visit that’d be complicated.

Hi, I am also from Indiana University Bloomington, the Kelley School of Business. What major did you apply for?

@kaipao omg no way that’s so funny! R u a freshman? I applied to gallatin wbu

Hhh what a coincidence! I applied to Stern and UChicago, hopefully can hear at least one good news from them. I am a sophomore triple major Marketing, Economic Consulting, and Public Policy Analysis at Kelley.

@kaipao Ahhh got it! Thats awesome. Wishing u the best of luck

@greenbaby22 I’m not sure yet but we should make one! I was worried about dorming as a transfer haha

does anybody know when the first wave is coming out

@collegebound326 some people that applied to CAS got accepted this past Friday

@ anyone who has been accepted, how long did you have to make a decision and if you committed did you have to withdrawal your apps to the other Universities that you applied to?

I also applied to Gallatin  I’m currently a freshman at Cornell (undecided in Arts and Sciences) with a 3.6 GPA there. 33 ACT score. 3.78 high school GPA (top 3 boarding school). I also applied to USC BC BU Brown And Barnard. Good luck everyone!

Hey! I’m just now reading this thread but I am also applying for transfer to NYU CAS from a small LAC as a freshman! I saw that some CAS acceptances have already been announced but when should we expect the next wave? does anyone know

Do u think anyone could hear tomorrow

When did people who submitted their application closer to the deadline last year start hearing?

@dood523 some people who applied the day of the deadline last year received their decisions just two weeks after, so it is honestly really random as to when each person will get their decisions.

I applied pretty early (mid-Februrary) and I haven’t heard back yet. I think it’s pretty random.

So will the next wave be any day now? Or like 1-2 weeks after the first wave (last Friday)?
