Just received an email from NYU for status update at 1:05 pm PST.
Accepted to School of Professional Studies!
Submitted application on April 1st.
I just got a notification now–accepted!!!

Does NYU only release decisions at one time?
Thank you!! I can’t believe it came out so fast… a little worried though because need to respond to the offer within 2 weeks of hearing, which is very fast… I’m not sure if the other schools I applied to will come out b4 then…

Did you guys who got accepted have all the portal changes usually associated with gettin an acceptance? Like how long ago did your portal checklist disappear, were you able to view the transfer credit report on albert, how did the financial aid tab change on Albert (before notification of acceptance), etc?

Really quick turnaround from NYU, considering application was sent in at the deadline! That should mean that any of you can get a notification at any time so hang in there!
Congrats to you too! Not sure if when you respond you within that 2 week frame that means you need to put down a deposit though… seems very fast. Might try to ask for an extension due to COVID 19 situation … what other schools are you waiting for?
